THE NOVEL OF MY DREAMS
THE NOVEL OF MY DREAMS
by Dreamy Poetess
It's not about the plotline,
nor about the prose,
That matters when I type, as
the story grows.
And it doesn't matter if I
subvert where it goes.
It's about what comes out when
the moment just flows.
When scenes continuously come
after another,
I couldn't help but draft, my
mind's full of wonder.
Emotion, on its height, expands
even greater,
Making stories to end happily
ever after.
I am not fond of writing some
overused tropes.
I'm cringing with those that
are too on the nose.
Writing was easier with music I
suppose.
Worldbuilding first, so it
won't climb different slopes.
They say for an author,
everything has a trace.
You need to have that
weirdness, and thoughts will embrace.
Emotions magnify, filling the
empty space.
Then start to type them but be
careful of the pace.
It doesn't matter how many
chapters are there,
For it's my way of letting my
feelings lay bare.
It is where I put my joy when
no one would share.
It is where I put my pain
when no one would care.
