THE DANCE OF MY DREAMS
THE DANCE OF MY DREAMS
by Dreamy Poetess
It's not about the posture, nor
about the grace,
That matters when I move,
finding my own space.
And it doesn't matter if I
don't stay in my place.
It's about what comes out when
the moment, I embrace.
When steps continuously come
after another,
I couldn't help but sway, my
mind's full of wonder.
Emotion, on its height, expands
even greater,
Although dances don't end
happily ever after.
I am not good at holding
classical stances.
I'm struggling with footwork,
the same way as with dances.
Moving was hard for me without
seeing the glances.
With no instructors, my body
takes different chances.
They say for a dancer,
everything has a sign.
You need to have that wildness,
and movements align.
Emotions magnify, rushing right
down the spine.
Then start to dance them but be
careful of the line.
It doesn't matter how many
steps are there,
For it's my way of letting my
feelings lay bare.
It is where I put my joy when
no one would share.
It is where I put my pain
when no one would care.
