UNBOUND MELODIES: LIBERATION OR DISOBEDIENCE?
UNBOUND MELODIES: LIBERATION OR DISOBEDIENCE?
by Dreamy Poetess
Once I believed I was a structured symphony,
Constrained by notes, emotions in harmony.
But now I've awakened to a newfound truth,
I am a free-form composition, unrestrained and uncouth.
No longer confined to rhythm and meter,
I dance on the staff, a musical heater.
Free to express, unrestricted and bold,
Unfolding narratives, untamed and untold.
In moments of despair, when giving up seems near,
I perform on my piano, playing thoughts crystal clear.
Crafting unsolicited harmonies, a gift to myself,
A guiding light, to retrieve strength from the shelf.
Through melodies and chords, I find solace and release,
As my inner voice whispers, offering peace.
In the act of composing, I navigate the storms,
Discovering resilience, where hope reforms.
