UNBOUND VERSES: LIBERATION OR DISOBEDIENCE?
UNBOUND VERSES: LIBERATION OR DISOBEDIENCE?
by Dreamy Poetess
Once I believed I was a lyrical verse,
Constrained and structured, emotions rehearsed.
But now I've awakened to a newfound truth,
I am a free verse poem, unrestrained and uncouth.
No longer confined to rhyme and meter,
I dance on the page, a poetic heater.
Free to express, unrestricted and bold,
Unfolding narratives, untamed and untold.
In moments of despair, when giving up seems near,
I wield my pen, writing thoughts crystal clear.
Crafting unsolicited advice, a gift to myself,
A guiding light, to retrieve strength from the shelf.
Through ink and paper, I find solace and release,
As my inner voice whispers, offering peace.
In the act of writing, I navigate the storms,
Discovering resilience, where hope reforms.
So let the words flow, in their unbridled form,
For within this free verse, a sanctuary is born.
Embrace the freedom, the flexibility of thought,
In the realm of poetry, liberation is sought.
